
Talented musician Jah Prayzah
Contemporary reggae musician Mukudzei Mukombe popularly known as JahPrayzah is dominating in the National Merit Awards list released yesterday. The ceremony that will take place at Rainbow Hotel in Bulawayo on February 15 will see Jah Prayzah featuring in four categories. He has the highest number of nominations with his album “Tsviriyo” battling it out with the likes of Mathias Mhere’s
“Nguva Ye Nyasha” and Guspy Warrior’s “Handikwanise Kuzvitaura” for the Outstanding Album of 2013.Jah Prayzah is in the Outstanding Song category with his song “Tsviriyo” competing with “Seunononga” from Guspy and “Zino Irema” from Mhere. Jah Prayzah has been nominated for the outstanding Male Musician award while two of his videos are running up for the Outstanding Music Video category.The Herald is represented at the awards by Ruth Butaumocho who has been nominated for Outstanding Journalist (Print).
